Sycamore Farm’s mission is to provide sexually exploited women with a safe opportunity to heal through holistic trauma-informed residential care and lifelong discipleship.

Our Values

Faith- Everything we do revolves around our faith in Jesus Christ. We are committed to looking for His guidance.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight—Romans 5:1-2 We have been made right with God because of our faith. Now, we have peace with him because of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Through faith in Jesus, we have received God’s grace. In that grace, we stand. We are full of joy because we expect to share in God’s glory.

Rejoice - We know, as Believers, that we will have good times and not-so-good times. We want to rejoice in all times, even in the struggles.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always, pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus. Luke 1:46-49 Mary said, “My soul gives glory to the Lord. My spirit delights in God, my Savior.   He has taken note of me even though I am not considered important. From now on all people will call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me. His name is holy.

Empower and Equip- It is not just about helping someone get better or be in a better place; it is about empowering them with acceptance and the love of Christ, as well as equipping them with tools for them to be self-sufficient.

Titus 2:3-5 “Older women likewise are to be… teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands so that the word of God will not be dishonored” Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it will be given to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you.  Everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find. The door will be opened to the one who knocks.

Shalom/Peace- The peace that surpasses all understanding provides us a safe place to begin the healing journey. Peace is what the Lord wants for us in all circumstances.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Health and Safety- Feeling safe and being able to have basic needs met is the first step to being able to focus on goals, dreams and the journey to being healthy.

Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me.” declares the LORD. Psalm 62:5-8 Yes, I must find my rest in God.  He is the God who gives me hope.  It is surely true that he is my rock and the God who saves me.  He is like a fort to me, so I will always be secure.   I depend on God to save me and to honor me. He is my mighty rock and my place of safety.  Trust in him at all times, you people.  Tell him all your troubles.  God is our place of safety.

Sycamore Farm Ky Inc. envisions a world where all sexually exploited women will have a holistic, trauma-informed, and Christ-centered place to heal.

Sycamore Farm desires to help sexually exploited and sex-trafficked women find services and resources to help them be more independent and grow in their walk with the Lord. We offer an emergency safehouse for those wanting to begin the journey to healing, we have a jail Ministry pouring into incarcerated women who may be involved in this type of life, and we teach human trafficking to the community to help prevent this from happening in the first place.

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,”

— The Bible: Isaiah 61:1
